Mimar Sinan University Accommodation, Istanbul
Utilising the existing structural frame the scheme proposed pre-fabricated living units to be shipped in and inserted in to the frame for student accommodation.
This was an element within a larger proposal for an extension to the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
A strategy for the sustainable urban regeneration of the Karaköy district, Istanbul, using the University and is presence to begin a catalytic regeneration of the greater area.
The scheme was awarded the Architecture PLB Sustainable Award 2011-12.
